Clinical Practicum and Internship Opportunities

Open Arms Wellness, LLC. is seeking a dedicated and motivated Mental Health Intern to join our team. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic mental health setting. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to support patient care, assist with assessments, and contribute to therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in patient assessments and intake procedures

• Participate in therapeutic sessions and creative ownership to start and lead support groups

• Help with case documentation and treatment planning

• Conduct research and support evidence-based practice

• Attend team meetings and training sessions

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field

• Strong interest in mental health and clinical practice

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

• Prior experience or coursework in mental health is a plus
